We invigorate the Basel Area: In 2022, we helped 35 companies to set up in the Basel Area, supported 96 entrepreneurs who started their businesses in the region and provided 1,592 consultations to our clients. We focus on future-oriented sectors such as life sciences, biotechnology, digital health, production technology, medtech, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
A healthy ecosystem thrives on its diversity. This also applies to the Basel economic region: Existing companies, international companies that settle here, and startups enrich and pollinate each other – and the entire region. We help you become part of an exciting ecosystem.

Basel Area Business & Innovation is the investment and innovation promotion of the Basel Area and your go-to agency for launching or relocating a business venture in Switzerland’s most dynamic region. As a non-profit organization, we provide services to companies, institutions and startups interested in exploring business opportunities or innovative projects in the cantons of Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft and Jura. We provide consulting services, facilitate connections, manage several accelerator programs, and offer events and workshops.
