Ontotext has opened a new office at the Allschwil site of the Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area located in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. The global supplier of enterprise knowledge graph technology and semantic database engines, headquartered in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia with an office in New York City, specializes in the field of life sciences and healthcare. With a comprehensive database of life sciences terminology, ontologies and data sources, Ontotext supports its clients in their efforts to generate usable insights from data.

The investment and innovation promotion agency Basel Area Business & Innovation supported Ontotext in the process of establishing the business in the region, by helping with the search for suitable premises and providing information in relation to employee secondments in Switzerland, for example.
