Caoimhe Vallely-Gilroy has been working for Basel Area Business & Innovation since 2023.

Before joining Basel Area, Caoimhe worked at leading pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis, Roche and Merck KGaA, spearheading the development and implementation of innovative digital health strategies and building successful global organizations and programs. Her expertise spans the entire spectrum of clinical development, from initial concept through to market launch, alongside proficiency in data analytics and regulatory compliance.

Caoimhe holds MScs in Translational Medicine and Biomedical Science from the University of Edinburgh and University of Ulster respectively, and a BSc (Hons) in Genetics from Queens University Belfast.
