Lauren joined Basel Area Business & Innovation in 2025, bringing extensive experience in managing events, operations, and large-scale programs across tech, nonprofit, and cultural sectors. Before joining Basel Area Business, she oversaw complex events and operations at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, contributed to customer adoption and retention strategies at a high-growth SaaS company in Germany, and held leadership roles at prominent cultural institutions in New York City. Her work has centred on operational strategy, community engagement, and fostering collaboration across sectors to drive innovation and bridge diverse ideas.

Lauren holds a Master’s degree in Non-profit Arts Management from American University and Bachelor’s degrees in German and Voice (Opera) Performance from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music.
