Before joining the Basel Area Business & Innovation Team, Mariana worked as a Training Coordinator for Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions in Reinach, where she was responsible for planning, organizing, and promoting training courses and online seminars about digital communication and Industrial Internet of Things. Before that, she worked as a Marketing Manager in an outsourcing company, specialized in Housekeeping activities in the Hotel industry in Switzerland, where she gained additional experience in the field of customer care.

In 2012 Mariana graduated at the University of Applied Science Northwestern Switzerland as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
