Marie Leblanc has been a member of the board of Basel Area Business & Innovation since 2023.

She is Executive Director, Global Head of Account Management, Cell & Gene Technologies at Lonza. Marie started her career working for Lonza in 2006 as a Sales & Business Development Manager in life sciences ingredients. She then transitioned to the Lonza Pharma & Biotech business in 2009. From this time onward and throughout her career at Lonza, Marie has served in various commercial leadership positions in sales, strategic marketing, and commercial development across the portfolio of technologies of Lonza.

Marie Leblanc has a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Aix-Marseille University, France and holds an MBA from St. Gallen University, Switzerland.
