Marie Leblanc has been a member of the board of Basel Area Business & Innovation since 2023.

She is currently Executive Vice President of Life Sciences at Biosynth. Marie started her career at Lonza in 2006 and subsequently served in various positions of increasing seniority in sales, account management, strategic marketing, and commercial development across the company’s portfolio of technologies. Marie started at Biosynth in 2025.

Marie Leblanc has a PhD in organic chemistry, polymers and computational chemistry from Aix-Marseille University, France, and holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
