Dr. Shuguang Yuan has been working for Basel Area Business & Innovation since 2021.

Prior to that, he worked for Actelion and Idorisa in the field of computational drug discovery. He is the co-founder of AlphaMol Science Ltd, a health-tech startup located in Basel and Shenzhen. Additionally, Dr. Shuguang Yuan holds a professorship at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology.

Dr. Shuguang Yuan finished his Ph.D. with Marie Curie Fellowship in three different institutions in Europe including KU Leuven, the Polish Academy of Sciences, and EPFL.
