ArcInnoLab is a cross-border innovation program supported by Basel Area Business & Innovation that connects startups and SMEs developing sustainable technologies. With hubs in Delémont (Switzerland) and Belfort (France), it helps startups and SMEs collaborate on solutions that benefit both ecology and economy.
The program is open to science- and tech-driven startups, scaleups and SMEs from both Switzerland and France. It’s particularly relevant for individuals or organizations who have a great idea for – or are already working on – an innovative sustainability, cleantech, or circular-economy project.
Participants receive tailored coaching, introductions to funding partners, and access to research and industrial networks across the Swiss-French Jura Arc. The program also facilitates cross-border partnerships with academia and regional development agencies.
It’s one of the few initiatives that brings together the public, private, and academic sectors across two countries to advance sustainability innovation. Its binational setup helps companies and startups access diverse funding mechanisms, regulatory insights, and broader markets.
Interested participants can apply through the Basel Area Business & Innovation website or can contact the regional innovation team in Delémont. Applications are accepted periodically, and participation is free for eligible projects.
