« From soil to gut »

FoodHealth is an innovation support program backed by the cantons of Aargau and Basel-Stadt. It connects science, companies and startups to accelerate high-tech innovation across the full value chain – from sustainable agricultural technologies to health-promoting nutrition solutions (“From Soil to Gut”).

FoodHealth is built for people and organizations working at the intersection of agritech, foodtech, nutrition and health – including startups, established companies, researchers and ecosystem partners. Eligibility for specific funding instruments may depend on your location and company type.

FoodHealth supports innovation in three ways. First, through ecosystem building, i.e. promoting events and connections that bring the community together. Second, via support for established companies, including a low-barrier feasibility study. Third, by offering support for startups, including an accelerator with coaching and investor access.

FoodHealth is a bi-cantonal program for Aargau and Basel-Stadt. For example, the Feasibility Study offer is specifically aimed at established companies in these two cantons, working on FoodHealth-relevant innovation projects.

The fastest route is to reach out to the FoodHealth team with your question or idea. Startups can also apply to the FoodHealth Accelerator, while established companies can explore a FoodHealth Feasibility Study to validate an innovation idea with reduced risk.
